Greater Manchester’s five leading Higher Education institutions have joined forces with Mayor Andy Burnham to create a brighter future for our city region. Together we’ve signed the Greater Manchester Civic University Agreement, committing to tackle inequality, boost the economy and protect the environment in our city region.

By working closely with our ten local authorities and listening to communities, we’ve highlighted six priority areas for collective action: education & skills, reducing inequalities, jobs and growth, the digital economy, net zero and the creative & cultural economy.
